Sales in May were almost exactly the same as April. The total number of homes on the MLS have gone down 3 months in a row! This is good news. Lower prices have brought out more buyers. Admittedly they are serious bargain hunters but they are buying.
Short sales, foreclosures and homes priced to compete are selling. Don’t be mislead into thinking we have hit bottom and price will begin to recover. The rest of 2008 will be dominated by bargain shoppers buying very, very well priced homes.
