Ocala weather for June 2007 |

If you're thinking about moving to Ocala and wondered about the weather, then this is for you.
This is the first installment to my monthly weather report for the Ocala, Marion county area.
June is the beginning of the wet season. The humidity has returned and will continue untl the fall. From now on most every day will be in the 90's. Seldom below 90 and never above 95. Each night will be from 70 to 75. The days will begin sunny and by afternoon there will be possible thunder storms. These storms are caused by winds from the Gulf colliding with winds from the Atlantic. They start around 2 or 3 in the afternoon and are over quickly. It seldom rains all day here.
The final thing about Ocala weather in June is that it is the start of hurricane season. Hurricane season goes from June until November. In June there isn't much happening because the water isn't warm enough. If a storm does get going it starts in the warmer waters of the Gulf. One of the best reasons to buy real estate here in Ocala is the fact that we have never had a direst hit by a hurricane. By the time they get to Ocala they have been down graded to a tropical storm. Trees can get blown over but nothing like you see down south.
If you have any questions about Ocala, the weather or real estate shoot me an email. I'm always glad to help.
